Morgan Evans is an outsider artist currently working out of Southern Oregon. Born and raised in the Appalachian foothills of Eastern Kentucky, Morgan draws on both positive and negative aspects of a nontraditional upbringing to create a unique brand of bold and impactful art. Whimsical at times and foreboding at others, Morgan’s work depicts anthropomorphic animals struggling with life’s daily grind. 

Morgan works primarily in acrylic paint on canvas and found objects including wood and cardboard. Sustainability is a core value of Morgan’s art, and many pieces are done on thrift store picture frames.
